Do you get to play the games as well? and is it just a bunch of dots running around?

Dots, but unlike GLB you call the plays, run practices, scout and do a ton of other TEAM MANAGEMENT type stuff. No player creation. And you call plays against the other guy calling plays on opposite team.

More I play it more I like it.
